For those that like to sling the boats in....

Jeez! Those guys are lucky they didn't get crushed by the boat after falling into the water.

Why would they let people on the boat? It looked like the shift in the weight caused the problem.

Don't know who was the bigger idiot- the crane operator for not using spreader bars with the slings, or the guys who were aboard the boat...

Looks like it's close enough to me. They can just push it in the rest of the way...

The Pythagorean theorem, works regardless of the medium.

hey he's got the tree all loaded up to haul off ... Maybe he just didn't figure the gross carrying capacity very well. :wow:

definately looked like a weight shift from a couple of the idiots up in the boat. I could have sworn the photog (besides the $hi# and whoa) sounded like he said 'damn yankee'. heh

Yeah, and am I the only one who saw they had about 2 feet of water where they were 'dropping' her?

As a crane operator I can say that the single spreader bar didn't allow the slings to stay far enough apart. A four point spreader would have saved the day. Shame on the operator for letting them ride the load.
