After trying to fill a water bottle in the cockpit sink this weekend and realizing I can't, it's too low, I'd like to replace that faucet with something taller. I am not looking for a major project thought no cutting, no sawing, drilling, etc. Is there a plug and play replacement?

The hole size is not the problem. The issue I have found is the fixture connectors to the hot and cold water supply may have to be changed. Can you shoot a picture of what you have?

Will do, it's going to be next week or next weekend before I'm on the boat again though.

I replaced mine a while back. It was very simple other than access. I didn’t have to do anything fancy with the water feed, but mine was a cold only tap so didn’t have the two hoses.

When I replaced my cabin faucet last month I had to rig up some adapters to get fittings to adapt the 15mm to 1/2 male plastic hose fitting to the 3/8 female fitting on the hoses on the Moen tap i bought. I ended up using a short standard faucet hose (1/2 female to 3/8 female) and used a male/male 3/8 connector to bridge to the faucet hose. All good now.

The pic I posted is not mine, it's from an ad I found online. Mine turns on and off so I am guessing, unless it's been modified, it's cold water only.

That's a faux SS faucet. I have the same one and it's definitely plastic.

Maybe you got swindled :):)

Must have been that imported model!

Simplest thing I have ever had to do on the boat. Can't beat it for $20.

I'm watching this thread, as the factory spicket on my 450DA has the tip broken off.

Additionally, while I'm in there the sink drain leaks onto the cockpit floor, so it'll be a project...

BEST !

Sorry to kick this thread sideways, I have had so many problems with the 15mm to whatever problem I just go straight to the shark bite section, yes they are pricy but they work every time
