FOR SALE Rinda Diacom ECM PCM Scanner for Laptop

I have just sold my 05 280DA so I will now be listing some odds and ends for sale that I don't see myself needing in the short term.

First up is a Rinda Diacom Software Kit. This is the kit that includes the USB PC Adapter, Adapter to read Mercury PCM and ECM 555 and the MEFI Adapter which covers a very wide range of boats. Also includes CAN Network adapter for 2009 and newer boats (not sure on the details for this as I have never used it). This is Rinda Part Number 94030. It also includes a software disk but newer software is available for download from their site. This has proved to be very useful in diagnosing issues for me and having this made me a real popular guy at the dock. You can also buy adapters to scan a ton of other Engines/Manufacturers and Outboards too.

Price from Rinda is $699

I am asking $600 for this and I will pay UPS insured shipping to a Lower 48 US Address. I accept Paypal.

I can provide a picture if needed but this is in perfect condition and in the box just as it would come from Rinda. Also their tech support is great! Any time I have had a question they were able to help me right away.

what is the model number on the USB adaptor? (And what software version do you have)? If if is older than 2.7 - you might need a $250 upgrade USB adaptor. 2nd - the CAN adaptor - are you sure is is 94030? Not 94029?

The kit is definitely a 94030 which includes the 94073 USB Dongle, 94006 Merc ECM/PCM555 Adapter, the 94029 CAN Adapter and the 94005 MEFI Adapter. Each time you update the PC software it updates the Firmware on the USB dongle.

Each time you update the PC software it updates the Firmware on the USB dongle. As far as I know, the only need for a change the USB dongle is if you run 64 bit Windows instead of 32 bit. Last time I checked Diacom will swap them out for free but anyone interested would need to check with Diacom on that if they plan to use 64 bit Windows. I had an older small laptop I kept just to use with this application so 32 bit was fine for me.

ok - then it might be better just to buy brand new as I'm to far away to do Diacom shipping in and out.

The USB Adaptor I have is a 94073 so according to the link Kaz posted, it would be 64 bit capable as well. Sorry for the confusion.
