Hello every one I have recently bought a 2008 Sea Ray 185. I found the site through a google search and look forward to lurking through all the info I can. This is my second boat my first was a 30' boat. Loved it but its time had came when a hose broke and it sunk 3 years ago. Anyways that was way more boat than I needed to curse the lake so here I am now with a 185/4.3L/wake board tower. If there is any useful tips or links to threads I should start with please post them...

Welcome aboard!

First thing...go to the User CP at the top of the forum, it will take you to your information section. Fill in stuff like your general location, and in the signature line, put the information about your boat. If you use the forums a lot, it will definitely prove handy.

Sweet ride!

Haha! yeah thanks. You would think that would be the first thing I did. I am an Admin on www.fullsizebronco.com and site owner/admin of http://downndirtyoffroad.com/phpbb/ (very small site but fun and hope no one minds me posting links sense it is unrelated to boats) I live in Dallas Ga and we (the family, wife, sister inlaw, and 3 kids 13/7/4) frequent Allatoona. I work an odd shift so I am at work every other weekend but I get 2-3 week days to go to the lake which is sweet IMO. Our old boat use to be docked at Park Marina in 06 and I may dock this one in the summer time so the wife doesn't have to tow it when I am working. I am still up in the air on this one.

Here is a pic of the boat tied to the old Bronco...

Welcome aboard. Make sure to update your Signature info.

Come out next weekend for CSR raftup on Allatoona.

Will do on the sig line. I am waiting on some pics.

I will see about swinging by to say hi. We actually have a b-day party to be at around the corner.

Welcome to the board. As far as where to start...use the search button above...try "sport". That is where I would start. Again welcome to the club.

Don't curse your lake - it's bad luck. Welcome to the site!

I will add my welcome and hope that you get a lot of time to enjoy your new boat

Thanks will do..

Thanks I hope so. I have always been the type of person to have a hobby and get out to do things. Like off roading. The wife and kids stay home which is no good. The boat they love to get out with me so it is a family thing for us. Something to get out and do together.

I will also add it is incentive to loose some of this butt I have been toting around. No body wants to see all that.:wow:

OK sorry guys I was at work but I got my sig posted now as long as it works with this post. Haha!
