I have a 1979 searay with 165hp. inline 6cyl. my question
is i have two motors and outdrives for this boat, but
one differnce between the two is the flywheel,
one is alot heavier. they both will bolt up with plenty of clearance.on the motor.
when you bye an after market fly wheel for a car it will be lighter and will allow the engine to
turn faster and revup faster.
my concern is if i use the heavier one will it hurt the main bearings or the crank. the starter ring came off of the lighter one and i was hoping i could just use the other one i have instead of byeing a new one ?
