I want to carry an 11' RIB with a 25 HP outboard on my 240's platform. Can it hold it and which davit system is best?

Not the original thread but the pothead duck and the trinary color coded chain is here.

Hey guys, Looking to buy a 40' boat.....diesel or gas?
Hey, I have a 2002 Sea Ray 380 Sundancer (42' ) in Buffalo NY for sale. It has the 8.1s with only 400 hours. It's the largest boat you would want with gas engines. Anything larger needs diesels.

Probably THE BEST CSR thread EVER!

I really doesn't need the "probably" qualifier...

Ding! Winner!

Hopefully I will get to read more soon but I had to stop when they were talking about rigging something up because the pig was too heavy to lift and then Gary dropped the:

"I had to rig something like this up for my wife.." bomb! :smt043

Balls of brass and large my friend.....

That is my favorite joke of all time.

Wow, this thread has gotten some legs.

Gives us some good topics to finger our way through as we continue through the non-boating season.

Those were the best threads. Lots of regular players back in those days. Makes you wonder where they are now.

Almost Carter, and there are some classics in there, but all the links to the specific shot that I am referring to of the duck without wings smoking a doob to the tri-colored chain seem to be broken.

I smell a conspiracy.
Speaking of smell, there's another particularly 'sh-ttty' piece of work 'floating' around but I'm not touching it with a 10' pole. It's creation had to be an intense 'strain' on the artist. It was not here long before being 'flushed', don't know if you got to see that one or not. Definitely not screen saver material.:smt043

Since Brunswick makes both Searays and Bayliners they must be the same boats just with different names on them right?

So Gary and the duck were the inspiration for the movie 'Ted'?

What's better, straight drives or stern drives or pods?

I want to convert my engines to run on propane to reduce greenhouse gasses. Is this a straight forward converson?

Don't use propane use natural gas. That way you can fill up from a gas line at home. Much cheaper and you don't have to exchange those bottles at the convenience store...
