I didnt see this discussed and maybe its stupid. I have 4.3L BIII. Can i drain the water out through the drain plugs and just pump pink into the flush connection at the engine? Would be easy to do as the flush connection fits a standard hose and i have a small pump with hose fitting.
Thanks

On my 7.4L Bravo III I used to warm up the engine, pull all the blue butterfly drain plugs, replace the plugs after draining, and then suck blue -100F anti-freeze through the flush muff attached to the outdrive until I saw anti-freeze exiting the engine. Of course I was on a trailer and had a pail with a hose attachment sitting on my swim platform with 3 gallons of anti-freeze in it. No pump necessary. I am not familiar with the 4.3L flush connection. I wouldn't think a pump is necessary if your source is higher than the engine (gravity fed).
