I have lurked around for a bit, but today I decided to register an account and join the forum. I recently purchased an 89 340 Sundancer for dirt cheap as it had sat unused for quite a few years. The best thing that she has going for her is her ability to float. I had it towed to my home marina where i have recently found that I had dragged three crab traps home that had wrapped up underneath. Imagine my surprise while I'm struggling to pull up crab traps up as Florida fish and wildlife putters by in the no wake zone, staring at me. I have started the task or tinkering here and there to see if I can bring the "Indy Water" back to life. Rust is everywhere, the upholstery has put us in fear of sitting on it. She doesn't run. I've uprooted a pine tree and weeds from the seats that were growing quite well. However, I see her as just needing some love. As I am recently retired from the military at the ripe age of 32, i needed something to occupy my time. I needed a project. I found just that.
