In my salon, I have the standard TV/VCR combination built-in the casework (stock) an would like to know if anyone else has looked at removing this style of TV and installed a flat sceen LCD TV with a DVD player?

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

SassyCarrie-
My friend is in the midst of doing this exact project on your exact same boat. I will PM you his e-mail address... I'm sure he'll be happy to share!

I did this very thing in both my salon and master stateroom. The salon is a Sony 26" and in the stateroom I used a Sony 19". I removed the old sets and then used a standard tv wall mount. I mounted mine high so I could access my Direct TV receiver.

Sorry to take so long. I had loaned a friend my camera. The second photo shows the wall bracket I used.

Thak you for the pictures. Very nice job and I appreciate your posting the pictures. I'll be picking up my two TV's over the weekend and see aht I come up with!

I have a 36 Sedan Bridge and I replaced all the TV's this winter....Went with Samsung HD tv's in the salon, master and guest. They are all 2 sizes up from the factory tv's.
