Please post pictures of your flag pole setup. Teak/stainless etc. Looking to change mine which is attached to the handle of the transom locker. I know the proper size for my 34 is a 36" pole with a 18" flag. Seems quite large so I am looking for some pictures!!

It's kind of hard to see in this photo of my granddaughter but it's a stainless flagpole mounted at the top of the transom. It sits at a 45* angle. It's smaller than the standards suggest for my boat but the regular size was just too large.

Just as FYI, the US Flag Sea Ray put on the same model 340DA at the factory was size 16x24. I understand there are different guidelines but a 24x36 flag is going to be huge on the back of a 340DA especially at cruising speed. I installed a factory pole/mount/flag for a friend of mine with an '05 340DA and it looked really nice.

Here is a thread that discusses the factory pole and mount.http://clubsearay.com/showthread.php/75817-OEM-Flag-Pole It is a really nice setup. The Original Swiveler poles are really nice too.

Post #4 in this thread will show you the factory mounting location- http://clubsearay.com/showthread.php/32214-05-08-340DA-Stock-Flagpole-Mount-Location
