I have a 195 Sport and now that the "fun in the sun" season is over, i have started doing a little more fishing. Has anyone had any luck or have any suggestions for any of the following --?
- replacing seat cushions with a hard flat surface ( plywood )
- installing rod holders?
- anything else??
If anyone has tried to fish out of a Sport boat and had success, i am all ears.

Thanks
JL

Hope you haven't caught the fishing "bug" too bad... after looking at the 195 on SR's website I'd have to say there's very little you can do as far as any type of serious fishing on that boat.

Since you say you have a tower, there are rail-mount rod holders ( I have them mounted on the grab bars on the sides of my arch) that you could install.

If you end up wanting to get into fishing in a more serious manner, you're gonna need another boat (or a different one)...

Thanks for the reply. We definitely have the right boat for my family of 5. We all love watersports and old dad is the only fisherman. i have done a tremendous amount of fishing in the past from offshore stuff when i lived in FL to inland lakes here in Tx and, believe me, i realize the difficulty in a sport boat. My only goal is to try not to tear the damn thing up by attempting to get a little fishing in.
Thanks again for the reply
