The Mrs and I just purchased a 16 foot center console. It's 10 years old, always trailered, always stored under cover.
Her bottom is spotless, looks like brand new.
We plan to keep her in a fresh water slip for the warm months and on the trailer for winter months.
What are the steps I need to take when painting a bottom for the very first time?
What's the trick to finding her waterline?
How much paint will I need for a 16 foot center console?
My assumption is we do not need the best of the best since she will be out of the water 6 months of the year, however the paint does need to be able to handle coming out of the water for extended periods.
Best brand/type for this application?
Thanks,
