My 7 month old Labradoodle had his first visit to the sand bar yesterday. I was really hoping he would like the water. He had a blast. Chased Frisbees, other dogs, and swam all over. Great time!!!!

I think Labradoodles are born boat dogs!
My buddy has one on his Egg Harbor that is just really well behaved and seems to love the boating life and water!

Good you and him! I gave dogs that need to get used to our dock/boat life, I gave a year until my sons are both off to school.... We start this weekend.

Our Golden Doodle loves the water as well. Totally comfortable on the boat and the dinghy.

Looking good! My beagle loves the boat, and pretty much anything that moves. My lab likes the water, just not the boat when it's moving.
They had a little influence over the name of the boat. ;)

Hey Skunkman, I'm assuming the sandbar is Jewfish? We do most of our boating from Sarasota bay to Egmont. Next time I see a 330 with a Labradoodle on board I'll stop by to say hello
Dave.

Awesome!
I'm in Tampa. Is that the Sand Bar on Anna Maria?
Did you anchor and swim in? How close did you get?

Yes - I think that is what is called - just south of Anna Maria. Please stop by if you see us - name of boat is La Belle Vie.

Yes it is. Towards the south end of the sand bar the drop off is pretty steep so we can get in close. Also not as much current at that end. No swimming required. My stern was in about 3 feet of water. Being able to stand at the stern makes it a lot easier to get Zeus back on board.
