After a week or so in the maintenance bay getting 'the list' taken care of, we finally got to splash the boat today ! :smt038
A few palpitations when the stbd engine cranked, but wouldn't fire...a quick tow back to service (never got off the trailer), and they quickly found a crankshaft sensor hadn't been reconnected. Back again, and this time no joy from the port tach - another loose connector found on the spot. I'm really glad they had the techs with us for the launch ! Enjoyed the short run over to our new 'home' at Creekwood Marina. Did some docking practice with our salesman (what a wizard), and filled up at the gas dock. (Welcome to boating)...And for good measure, pumped out the holding tank. All in all, what a great day for us ! Can't wait for 'class' tomorrow ! Can't ask for a better instructor. It was just great walking back down the dock, getting introduced to our new neighbors. Putting 'our' boat to bed for the night, and that last 'look' back, was a great finish to a great day.
