My wife and I recently purchased an old Sea Ray 300 (1986), the previous two owners took great care of it. We now take weekend trips around the St. Petersburg, FL area and plan to run her to the keys next summer. I would never have thought I would have owned a boat this old but we love it!

Wow! She looks in GREAT shape! Is that a custom bimini?

The previous owner (who had her for ten years) had the radar arch and custom top built and installed, he also closed the gaps from the factory windshield and side glass frames to the new top with Eisenglass. It has two forward zippered panels above the windshield that roll up on hot days. I think he did a great job, it keeps us out of the wind and rain. It's been cold here lately but we can still get out and not freeze. I'm going to install a Flowscan fuel flow system in the next month, try to reduce the fuel burn a little by finding the sweet spot. I think she's burning somewhere in the mid twenties per hour, kinda thirsty, it's our first twin engine boat..

Nice boat! Welcome Aboard!

Nice Boat. Welcom Aboard.

You think it has been a bit cold there lately. I am waking up to 16 degree temps. Thank God, during the day it hits 30. Or like today it is snowing, windy and cold.
Enjoy the Winter!!! Thanks for the laugh!!:smt038
