Although I am registered here, I have never posted as I enjoy reading these posts and have learned so much here. I am originally from NYC and purchased my 1988 Sea Ray DA Sorrento 26 back in 1999 as a brand new boater. I took several Coast Guard course through the years and we have learned and growned. I have never really expereinced any major issues with the boat as it was and has been maintained excellently. Last year, we moved to Hernando County area of Florida but I could not put the boat in the water because of all the house duties attached to that move since I am a single parent. I kept the boat in dry storage, changed the manifolds, winterized it but did some traveling with my two daughters during the summer as in a few days, they will both go off to college and leave me home alone. (I hate to say it but it;s killing me already). I did not go in the water for the summer. Anyway's, I won't be doing any boating until atleast April - May but want to undertake a few projects to keep me busy. I look forward to enjoying your posts and learning more.
