been following for quite some time and was hoping to add useful information, my background started with Twin Disc, and led onto ZF transmissions, re-powers and worked side by side with Caterpillar doing training sessions at the Merrit Island Sea-Ray facility, traveled extensively including outside the US doing warranty work for Twin Disc on Sea-ray boats on the propulsion side. many dockside rebuilds, and repairs. going into my 25th year working exclusively on propulsion. involved in many diesel endurance speed records along side with Caterpillar and the company i used to work for. obviously i moved onto my own company for the last 10 years and have been successful at this venture.
most of the things i do nowadays are transmission and diesel engine repair/ overhaul and may add to the forums

thanks again, been on many sea-tugs (pun) with v-drives, alot of work on the 630's with Arneson ASD's, lottsa good info to pass on, been out of touch with some of the newer stuff, but i do alot of reading on them. lottsa good parts connections and who to talk too. but for the most part I should be able to help out along the way
