I don't think you would have a problem with a dually. I use four low because wife pulls us out and it's just easier. Make sure you have plenty tongue weight on heavier boats and feather the throttle to keep steady boost pressure. Just walk her out slow and easy on slippery ramps. It's that "slow and easy" part that my wife sometimes forgets and feels like she's going to break the winch strap or rip the eye off the boat....lol The 280 fully loaded is no "slouch".hey floridaramax1, ur the guy to ask!
we really want to be able to trailer. i have a 3500GMC (duramax) dually, but it's not 4X4. my son used to race cars so i've pulled huge trailers all over the country. pulling the boat out is what i'm worried about. do you think my truck would be ok? i've never slipped at all pulling my 240 back up any ramp.
