Woo hooo!!! They are delivering our boat on Wed (weather permitting) if not Thursday. We are spending our first night on the "new to us" 310DA this weekend. And with no kids!!!!

Come rain or shine we are going to our new boat. I have got to take the new red throw pillows and other prettys to the boat. Plus we have to have a renaming ceremony, or do you do that when you actually put the name on? I don't care I will do it twice just to make sure she knows she is getting a new name.

Her name now is Luna Sea our name for her is LA BUENA VIDA (the good life)

And we sold our 250DA yesterday!!!! :smt038

Lonetta...congrats on the new boat. So you did you sea trial last weekend? How was the water up at LOTO? Many boats out? Also congrats on selling your old rig:smt038:smt038. Do you know who is buying it? Will it stay on Table Rock? We are dewinterized, but waiting for the lake to go down to get on the dock.

Thank you!!! We did the sea trial last weekend, and do I love how this boat drives and rides. LOTO was very muddy and had a little crap in the water here and there but nothing you couldn't get around. They definately aren't up as high as we are, but they are up.

The couple buying our old boat are from Kimberling City they live on the golf course and that's about all I know about them. I know they are keeping it at Table Rock they are taking over our old slip too from Kimberling Marina which is a nice plus. They were looking at a 95 270DA that's right next to our boat but decided ours was much prettier and cleaner. (thank goodness I spent all that time making sure to she was all shined up.)

I hope the lake goes down soon, we are supposed to meet some friends this weekend but they are over at Mill Creek, and we can't get under the bridge. Now that is crazy right there.

Double Conga Rats!

First on selling your old boat and second on getting out this season!

We just moved from a 98 310, nice roomy boat with a good beam!

Ill say it again...congrats! I hope you will be christening the boat this weekend without the kids

Lonetta...at Port of Kimberling...can most people still get on the docks or are the walk way ramps out in the water?

Congrats on the new boat, hope you have a great season.

thank you every one for your well wishes.

Jeff, I am not sure as I haven't actually been down there. But the couple that looked at our 250 on Saturday, I believe John drove them up the middle of the campgrounds and that they have added extended walk ways so that we can get to the docks.

Congrats on the new boat! Hope all went well with the delivery... Get some picts. posted so we can all see the new ride!!!

boat is finally being delivered today!!! But woke up to more RAIN!!!! argh!!! We are going down tomorrow to take delivery from MM they are taking it to their dock first to make sure it's all shiney. Then they do that delivery teaching thing, so tomorrow it is. Hopefully the rain will stop soon......it needs to move on to the southeast and give those folks some decent lake levels.

I will post pictures as soon as I get them. I promise.

Thanks again everyone for the well wishes...I am so anxious I can't possibly wait any longer.

Congrats on the new boat. We went from a 260 to a 320 and love it. Dewinterized last weekend.

New boat delivery is soo much fun - bit overwhelming.

Glad to see you are finally there. And that you decided to use the pliiows and stuff to get your "color" in the cabin.

As for your name change, there is a very specific procedure for doing it right. I think there was a thread posted on it and you should do a search for it. I've never be a particularly superspicious (I know it's spelled wrong but it's late) type but when I got out of a partnership on my old Cobalt my old partner changed the name with no ceremony. Within 7 years, the boat sank 3 times and he put no less than 5 engines in it. This was in the BMW of boats.

Yeah, it may seem silly but why piss off the boat gods. We all need all the luck we can get. And remember what Captain Ron said...."If it's gonna happen, it's gonna happen out there."

Good luck.

the boat went in yesterday afternoon, which was just a little frustrating because it was supposed to be there earlier. So I didn't get to stay after sitting there for four hours waiting for it's arrival. Then they didn't have a slip for it at MM to wash it up so they just took it to our dock. Which is fine but I don't like last minute changes. I kept my boys home today because they are dying to see the boat, but it's so windy I don't know if we can go. I am too anxious to get on the thing, I think I have to calm down. At least it's there and it made it safely.

Norcal as for the name change I have read and reread that thread and you can bet that we will be doing the ceremony. We didn't do that for our 250 and guess what the first weekend we were out with it the impeller went kaput and then we burned up some hoses and stuff. I thought the boat was on fire.......I grabbed my dog and my purse and was ready to jump. we had to be towed back into the dock...we were so sad.

there will be pictures soon...I can show some of what our lake looks like now at it's record level.

It is definately windy today....but depending on the direction your dock sits...it may not be too bad on the lake....did you see the lake level this morning...over 931. Make sure they get the the new boat squeaky clean:smt038:smt038. So you guys can get on the new dock? Keep us posted!!
