just so you can join me on the roller coaster emotional ride of my Saturday:smt101

good news:
was able to fix all my broken bimini brackets with ease, the best part was for once I had a project that was on the cheap end of the scale:grin:.

bad news:
filled the water tank while still on the hard and tested hot and cold water....can't get any pressurized water, flip the breaker and I don't hear a sound....worked great before winter:smt089

good news:
launched boat and engines fired right up and pured like kittens. finally in the water! and a week ahead of my original schedule:smt038

bad news:
tested Air conditioning and everything sounds like it's running but I'm not getting any water pumping through the system, sea cock is definately open:smt089

good news:
cruise over to the new dock and backed in like a was an old salt pro, set up camp and got all the new interior in....well except for the new fridge.

Anybody have any idea where I should start with the A/C and water system? showing my ignorance, I couldn't even firure out where the water pump is located for the water system, and is there anything special you need to do to the A/C to dewinterize besides checking the sea cock on turning it on? although after working on other things all day I really only troubleshooted for about 5 minutes before I said the heck with it and grabbed a cold one....after 3 straight weekends of work, I felt it a necessity to enjoy at least one evening on the boat to remind myself why I bother.

luckily having water at the dock and the cooler temps neither system's malfunction ruined my weekend, but seeing as they both worked fine before winter I got caught off gaurd by their failure.....I definately feel like I have a splinter under my skin.

Go on the Sea Ray website and download all the info for your boat. They have diagrams etc of the water system. Very handy

Thanks for the pic of the interior! I have been debating vinyl vs. sunbrella (or whatever lol)...

Now I KNOW I want vinyl!!!

Have a great summer!

Greg, as Scott said, the A/C system probably just needs to be primed. Mine did the same thing while commissioning last week. After reading Hampton's (John) write up about this, I simply loosened the hose clamp after the water pump and got a small screw driver under the hose (it is very tight) and got air to come out, then water. Once the water shot out, water was then coming out of the side of the boat like normal. Tightened the clamp, all was good. You can search for Hampton's explanation too. Mike

Thanks for the advice on the A/C guys, I appreciate it, I guess I should have searched a little harder:smt024
I think I just needed someone to tell me everything was going to be alright :lol:Hopefully the water system is an easy fix too.
Thanks for the compliments on the interior! had to laugh I spent 3 days on the v-birth cushions and the admiral threw down the comforter not 5 minutes after i installed them. makes me wonder why I spent all the time redoing them just to have them covered up with a comforer:smt017

now I just need the new fridge delivered and as soon as I'm feeling comfortable that I've repaired all leaks, its headliner time!

Greg, Glad you finally hit the water man... you deserve it... now when you find time I have ice cold beer for an added reward!
