And that's how my vacation starts!

Great Time, although we did have to dodge the storms both days, we were able to find plenty of sunshine, and I was able to go swimming! (the water was 57, now it's 62!) Getting out early is definitely better in this hanging off the coast nor'easter we've got going on again this summer (All last July was this way, this month it's a couple weeks earlier)

Must be that global warming.

Saturday we just hung out around Savage Island.

Sunday headed up to Knight's Island, up to Holiday Point, around Butler Island (Was that you I saw rafted up there on Sunday around 3 Kurt? We rolled thru that south facing bay on the east shore just as the orange Cigarette boat was leaving) Then back to Burton and Ball Island and back to shore. The lake was superb!

Sounds like a nice weekend. I just love coming into work worn out from a full weekend of boating. :smt038

Wow, I hope you didn't stay in the water very long. 62 is a might chilly. :wow:

actually, it was warm enough, where I stayed in >10 min's!

I like it cool like that. 50-75 is my swimming temp range.

anything less than 50 is numbing, more than 75, it's bathwater and I don't exit feeling refreshed.

Yeah, my gf doesn't go in, till it's >72 or more...

Wasn't me. I haven't been over to Butler this year. We had planned on spending the week at Burton starting tomorrow but this weather is just horrible so I don't know.
