It took a little while but I finally got the boat I've been searching for. Found her at the Cedar Point in water boat show. Did my due diligence sea trial, survey, some negotiating, and winter storage. The bad news is it's going to be a long winter before I can get her back in the water. I will be counting on this forum to help me out as questions arise.... And I'm sure they will!

You're going to love the 280. One of Searay's longest utilized boat molds and for good reason. It handles great, has good storage, can overnight and entertain with ease and is fuel efficient.
Lots of experience and knowledge on this site with that boat. You'll have all winter to read through the 280 thread !

Beautiful boat, congrats! Now you need to change your boat information (and spell your username correctly). sfergson727 can help you with that.

Congratulations on picking a good boat. I bet you'll be anxious for the days on the calendar to pass quickly.

Speaking of calendars...

Congrats! Great looking boat.... I miss my 280 and get a pain in my gut when I look back at the pictures.....why, oh why did I sell it :smt089:smt089:smt089:smt089:smt089

Geat choice. Your going to love your 280. I owned one for the last few years and have a lot of great memories.

You'll love the 280. I just sold mine and moved up to a 420. I've got a lot of learning to do. Starting with, how do you start a thread? I have an issue with the system monitor.
