From another thread I wrote about the Fuel pump issue, mechanical water pump and the Vapor Separator Tank that was causing the surging issue. Replaced the fuel pumpand water pump and cleaned the VST. Picked up the boat on Friday night. Did some cleaning on Saturday morning and then decided to take the boat out for a spin.
I started out down the Bush River to the Chesapeake Bay and then headed north. I was going to go to Annapolis but decided not today. Anyway, Up the Bay and then up the Sassafras River to the Georgetown Marina. A quick meal at the Kitty Night House and then back to the marina.
So now the breakdown:

RPMs up and back: 3200
Speed: 22.8
Lunch: $42.00, Tip: $10.00
Possible gallons used: 85
Cost for fuel: $312.82
Total day trip: $364.00
Total repairs so we could have a day trip: $1800.00
Total day cost: approx: $2112.00

Having a Great Day on the Sea Ray 400EC: Priceless

Great your up and running again...i know the feeling.

I launched only last month and haven't had time to use the boat due to that dreaded four letter word.......WORK.
So much fiddling and fine tuning yet to do and no time.
Going to be a winters worth of getting ready for summer 2014 for me.

Glad your back in business.

Enjoy,
Mark.

Mark,
thanks. Not sure I am going to pull my boat for the winter. Right now I am thinking I will leave it in, do some work and pull it in the spring for a good wash and wax. My only issue right now is more physical. If my doctor decides or I decide that the putting my surgery off for another years isn't worth the pain in my shoulder then I'll pull the boat and soon.
The boat is so much fun to ride in. It was so good.
Joe
