Two months after our offer, we are officially boat owners again. That's the upside. The downside is the cruelty of having a new toy but not being able to use it for at least 4-5 months when the ice comes off Lake Superior. All the payments but none of the fun.

But the anticipation of spring! Priceless! Congrats

Great, Congratulations!
I'm sure there's lots of things that you should be spending more money on now before the hull gets wet again. If you need help determining those must haves, I'm sure that we can help.

You trailering or slipping it? Where you going to be running out of?

Woody, We have a trailer but only a half-ton pickup so we'll be keeping it at Pikes Bay Marina, Bayfield, WI. We've been in the area for some time, but this is our first boat on the big lake.

Thanks All's Well. I have about a million questions and see this forum as a tremendous resource. We had a survey done before purchase so I have an immediate list on the "to do" list.
