Figured out the overheating problem today

Turned out to be a cracked cylinder head. When I did a leak down test on the aft-most cylinder on my port engine I got a nice display of coolant bubbling out of the radiator cap.

The good news is that I am running out of things to break.

Well,,, I'm glad you found the problem. I wish it had been something simple (cheap) though. Do you think you will get back in the water this year?

Rob up at New England Powerboat in North Hero is looking for a used one for me that is in good shape. If we can find one quickly I will be back on the lake. I am also making good headway on finding my next boat. I think I am going to be making some offers this coming week.

I really can't say enough good things about Rob. This could have been a far uglier summer if it wasn't for him. He has really taken care of me.
