Last year my brother had a small fire in the cabin of his boat. Fire restoration co. came in and cleaned it up. Unfortunately, they didn't get the smell of smoke out that well.
After doing some searching, my brother rented a ozone machine early this spring and gave it a shot. All I can say is amazing! Even if you don't use this in your situation, you people may want to bookmark this site for future reference.

A friend of mine has trouble with his 2005 Regal. The fiberglass smell in the cabin is so bad his admiral doesn't want to overnight.

How can this be resolved?

I don't have this problem with my 1997 Sundancer. It outgassed years ago.

Is this a problem on new Sea Rays?

We purchased a 2000 Maxum 2400SCR in 2004. It had the fiberglass smell from the day we bought it, 5 years old, until we sold it 2 years later.
