Fiber Glass Hinge Pin Spacers

I was just wondering if there was any kind of lubrication needed when i put the NEW fiber glass inserts back between bell house when i put the hinge pins back in?
There seemed to be some on it when i took the old ones out but it could have been just dirt?

If there should be something there can you tell me what kind of lubrication? I bought some Special 101 lubrication for the shift slider, will that work?

One side of the spacer has an adhesive. Put that side against the bell housing. Slip the gimbal ring in place and secure with the hinge pin. Reattach the sending units and use Mercruiser 2-4-C when you grease the hinge pin. It will be lubricated as needed. Pretty simple job!
