The port side tach is flashing "FAULT-SENSOR, then, FAULT-TPS"... what does that mean?? Should I replace the Throttle position switch or is there something else wrong? The engine seems to run fine.
Please help
Thanks
Jerry
I had a Merc qualified mechanical come out and hook up his lap top. The Smartcarft reported that I was over reving the engine. It was a dumb rookie mistake. When I was starting the engine I was giving it the throttle instead of letting the fuel injection system do its job. I leaned a valuable lesson and the TPS sensors are fine. And now when I start the engines I dont tough the throttles ;-)
