Can somebody please tell me where to find this filter and explain how to change it?

Mine was just above the holding tank on the starboard side. I was able to get to it from the removable panel while I was standing in the engine compartment.
The ends just un screw. My replacement part was like 90 bucks so I made my own.
Remove it from the boat, cut it half with a hacksaw (or PVC saw if you have one), dump out the old charcoal, remove and clean the 2 pc. of mesh at the ends of the pipe. You can also replace them with either fish filters, or ridge vent, get some new charcoal from the pet suppy or walmat , about 8 to 10 ozs, get yourself a 2 " pvc coupling, and put it all back together.
Don't glue the coupling otherwise you won't be able to take it apart again. just push it back together nice and tight and wrap with duct tape. Done. Total cost was under 10 bucks
Hope this helps you out

You need to trace the waste tank vent hose and see if you even have one.
My old boat didnt have it so, I installed one.
Installing one is easy enough and they DO work..

Another idea is to go to Home Depot and get a piece of PVC rubber connector with clamps to put the two pieces back together ilo duct tape.
