Some Facebook employees attempting to return to work amid the company's mass outage have been unable to get into buildings after their digital badges stopped working.
Employees attempting to get into the buildings to help fix the outage told the New York Timesthat they were unable to get in. Security engineers arriving on-site to assess the outage were also not able to get into secure areas containing servers.

I use FB because it's home of the Back Cove and Sabre owners group. The BC/Sabre community is too small a group of owners to have a dedicated forum like this one, with all the server costs, maintenance, etc. It's not a perfect system, but it works OK.

By comparison, CSR has 55,000+ members where the BC/S group has 1,100.
