Extension for Sundeck bow ladder?

Hi everyone,
I would like to make my OEM bow ladder on my 2009 SD longer. Has anyone done this before by adding extra sections? If so where is a good place to source them? I have been checking the internet and eBay with no luck. My ladder is the folding white coated ladder.

I think you’ll have a hard time adding any type of permanent extension to that ladder and still be able to fold it into the anchor storage locker.

Maybe some sort of short rope ladder that you hang from the rungs would help?
