Extended warranty or not

I agree, get your money back. Unless you can get someone lese to pay for an extended warranty they are not worth it. There is a reason they are sold so heavily. They make money for the salesman.

It's all about peace of mind. You have two engines, and all the electronics and generator. Yes there are things that are not covered but that boat is 5 years old, things are fixing to break, trust me. I bought my 2005 last Nov. and I am making my 3rd trip to the shop for warranty work. If you can afford it and it eases your mind do it! I did, and glad of it.

Mind is 8 years old....peace of mind for us.....

Best $5500 I ever wasted (hopefully) - Still have a year and a half to go. I'm working hard to make that money go to waste weekly through preventative maintenance, but you never know.

peace of mind

I think it's impossible to make a blanket statement either way. A warranty is not for everybody but for some people it has paid off. There are great arguments on both sides in this thread that should help you and others decide if it's right for you.

Your boat has 400 hours on it. I would buy the warranty!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WE HAVE 420 AND WE BOUGHT IT......:smt001
