Experience tinting windows = good/bad

Can you give us a review of the window tint since it’s been a few months? We’re Now looking into tinting our front windshields what percentage did you go with and material?
Thank you.

Very happy with results. Before the tinting we would not consider leaving the front windshield off during the summer. Now we routinely leave it off when on the boat.

Don't remember the specifics, but I emailed the installer for the information and will post when he responds back. I remember he gave us two samples, we went with the darker sample.

I noticed that during the discussion, no one talked about the disadvantages of tinting the windows. For example, the driver's vision may deteriorate significantly at night and in bad weather. Therefore, the choice of film requires full responsibility. Each type of film differs in its degree of light transmission, so you need to choose the most suitable one. I chose Snap Shades for the rear windows to protect my children from direct sunlight. The driver must think not only about himself but also about the passengers. That's what my father told me. I change the tinting every three years because new materials appear, and the old ones become obsolete. How often do you change the tinting?

It was discussed. He mentioned there was no lower station that would require looking through the glass to navigate.
