Hi guys,
Appreciate a little assistance with a repair. I have a 2005 Weekender 225, I realized a couple weeks ago that one of my vent covers became "unseated?" The seal on the two edges is no longer holding and it can now flip up (toward the inside of the boat, the long edge still holds). The cover is fine but I need to reseat it. I just got a camper top and one of the top's mounts goes on it. What would be the strongest/ best adhesive to re-seat it?

Thanks-
Patrick :)

This is what I am talking about:

3M 5200 is about the strongest marine adhesive I know of. Be aware it is permanent and removing the panel later on could result in damage. It you want a less permanent sealant, you could use 3M 4200 which is still very strong. Make sure you clean the surfaces well and remove any old adhesive.

Thanks very much,
I was going to file away at the old seal to give the new adhesive place to grab hold of.The old seal is rock hard, almost like grout, so I am guessing it was meant to be permanent.
