Exhaust Flapper

At the end of last years boating season I apparently lost the port side exhaust flapper on the thru-hull. Did this happen to anyone else? If so, how easy is it too install and is the part readily available?

From what I understand, if you have lost the flapper you need to buy the whole thru hull assembly. Good luck.

Make sure it is out of the exhaust and not stuck in there, not a big deal to change. I left mine out as I have outdrives and it was stuck in the exhaust. Had to take the drive off to get it out. I am assuming you have inbds? It should be right after the elbow up to (cast portion). 1/2 hour job. good luck

I lost mine port side, 05 340 DA, 2 yrs ago. I lost the hole thing, not just the flapper but the whole assembly. The boat was out of the water for the winter, cleaned the attached area and glued a new one in place. It was no big deal. The price of the assembly was reasonable. I bought it from the Sea Ray dealer.
