Exhaust Elbows- Required Reading

Found this online today. I like his approach of dissecting the various elbows and how they have evolved. Still sucks that I'm looking at 3 boat dollars (parts only!) somewhere in the next couple of years to replace my manifolds and elbows (dry exhaust).

Different elbows that what I have on my 7.4s. The top of the elbow has a brass plug that reaches into the inner exhaust passage. These elbows don't have that. I remove the plug to pass a borescope though the hole in order to look for water where it shouldn't be.
