Exhaust elbow replacement help

1994 express bridge 7.4L bluewaater 454 v-drive. Here is my probem. Decided to replace the exhaust elbows and spacers. Ordered new risers and spacers from ppt. The replacements arrived and were HGE elbows, couldn't find oem elbows. Anyway removed the old mercruiser elbows and risers. Had to cut off two of the studs to get the remote oil filter to clear from under the deck. Removed all four studs because the new spacers/risers came with hardware. Installed the spacer on the new studs with lockwashers and nuts. Had to turn in the drain plug as much as possible and file it down to get it to clear the Exhaust manifold antifreeze outlet tube. Put the exhaust elbow on and discoverd that the remote oil bracket will not fit around the new Elbow, the elbow is a tad wider than the original. Thinking about sending this HGE stuff back to PPT and try to find oem risers and spacers. When I looked for the oem they said it was NLA. Anyone have a source for Original spacers and elbows, and any thoughts or suggestions on the remote oil filter bracket. Thanks. Mike

Well after doing further research I discovered that my original elbows were stainless and if you replace stainless elbows with cast iron you have to replace the oil filter bracket. $112.00. Two additional slightly larger bolts are also needed, $9.59. The stainless oem risers are no longer available.
