Exchanging long block in 290 amberjack

Getting ready to pull 5.7 long block in my 2001 290 Amberjack. Wanting to ask best procedure for pulling block with the Hurth 630 V drive configuration. Is it possible to pull the block without having to haul boat out. Thanks in advance for your suggestions

How do you plan to lift it out?

I don't think I can offer a suggesstion as I have no idea what your setup is... what machinery you have access to... etc.

It’s sounding like the block and trans will need to come out as a unit.
