@fwebster - Frank Hope things are OK with your baby. Some friends in Ft Walton have their boat floating above the marina.

We are fine Tom, thanks for asking.

The storm was well west of us and the channel entrances feeding the bay here. We had about 3 ft of surge and a lot of rain. If you never saw 15+" of rain fall in 12 hours, it is an experience especially considering how flat the country is in NW Fla. I am sure there is some beach erosion, but any other damage in Panama City/PCB is very likely limited to very minor wind and some significant rising water.

I am told th at the effects are progressively worse as you go westward. The entire downtown of Pensacola was flooded and as far east as Destin there is wind damage.

    Thats great news Frank...God bless

My buddy in Pensacola still has no news as to the whereabouts of his boat. The marina is completely gone... My other friend says he has some 50' charter boat litterly sitting in his back yard now. That surge & wind combo really had its way with everything.
