Neither had I, until last Sunday. There is now one on a boat lift across the creek from my marina. Looks to be of 1970's vintage, about 20-22 feet, with an i/o. I saw a 1970's Sea Ray center console about 5 years ago, but never saw a walkaround.

It was called an Amberjack and to my understanding they only made them for two years in either a I/O or outboard version. The local Sheriff's used them for law enforcement. I have a '76 with a 260 mercrusier, 20 ft.

Gotta ask Captain Rusty. He has a Laguna. I found a couple of Lagunas out there but I don't see any that are true "walkarounds."

Ya got something like this, which is late '80s vintage and is a center console. This is similar to what Rusty has...

These are more "cuddy" like and are early to mid-90s...

Bingo! Mystery solved! Looks narrow but I guess you can truly "walk around."

In the late 70's when Sea Ray was building in Az. A local Developer, Not Dell Web, worked with Sea Ray to build a center console Bass Boat for Lake Powell. Used a Sea Ray Hull. Company was KCraft. Then sold to SunSet boats. 20 and 21 footers.
I own a 79 21 footer with Merc 260. Law enforcement used them for years on the lakes around Phoenix.

Yes. I had a 1983 or 84 21.5 walkaround with a 488 Merc/Alpha combo. Road nice and great on fuel with that big 4cyl. Chevy/Ford motor. I still have some pics of it somewhere. These models were produced for only a couple of years and were not good sellers. I heard the molds were put out in the parking lot and ran over and trashed. Little did they know the walk around craze would kick in a few years later.
By the way, I've spoken to a few Laguna owners with Laguna models from the late 80's and early 90's and they said it was one of the best riding hulls they have ever owned.
