Error on ST7001 Raymarine

This weekend a had a problem with my autopilot.

It was showing the message "no pilot"

Than afther several times putting the power on and off it worked again....

Anybody had the same problem or know the cause??

Sounds to me like your Rudder Reference unit is on the fritz. That is always the first component to fail. It could also simply be some loose connections. I would start by unplugging and replugging all the connections to make sure they are OK, then call Raymarine if it is still not working to have them troubleshoot it with you 800539-5539.
