Enter function not working thus one long paragraph

Was wondering if any one can tell me why when I type a post and hit the enter key to start a new paragraph it does not work. I have had to type my post on a word document copy and paste it into the post block and then try to find all the combined words? There must be some trick to fixing this.
 
I think I read somewhere that it has something to do with the browser? Someone said if you use "Firefox" then the enter key will work for starting a new paragraph. Does this make any sense?
 
Try using shift+enter. Some places that will work. my enter works fine and I am a chrome user.
 
OK, Here goes,

Go into your settings, General Settings, bottom of the page, Look for Misc options , message editor interface, It is probably set on Enhanced Interface - Full WYSIWYG Editing, change it to standard and click save. This should fix your enter button issue.

I presume the need to do this caused by vBulletin not updating their programs or the host not being on the current version? IE is the worlds most used browser.

Is a VBulliten issue. Some have no issues some due. Just a simple fix when you know how to do it.

Click on the icon above showing like a/A switch editor to source mode... seems to work for me.
