Taking a break.

To bad we have to head home on Friday, but one more boat rental tomorrow with another trip to Cabbage Key planned.

Those are some great memories you're making there! Kudos for stepping outside of Disney World, renting a boat, and having some real fun with the family!! Awesome!

awesome....been to Sanibel several times and actually honeymooned on Captiva Island at South Seas Plantation....you'd never guess you were in the states down there.

Looks like the water flowing out of the river is turning the water in that area a little tanic.

Great places, we just love to cruise down the ICW to them. Pleased you enjoyed it and the weather was kind.

Love it down there. Cabbage Key is one of our favorites. We always stop at Cayo Costa too. The water quality is great compared to Tampa Bay. South Seas is too snobby for me but many people like it.

Been down there many times! Always a great trip!

Great pics, Harold. Enjoy your stay and local boating.

Having another lunch at Cabbage Key. Till next year........

Grew up on sanibel, and still go back every year. For a great sammy, head to Grandma Dots located at the sanibel marina for the grouper sandwich. 35 years and running...its still my favorite sandwich on the planet.

Nice Pictures. When you get home, don't be too shocked with the temperature drop!

Gorgeous area! I bought my boat down there and sealed the deal over lunch at Grandma Dots.

Six weeks and counting before I can dig my toes in the sand down there. I can taste the grouper sandwich already.

Too late, we are shocked.....
I want to go back

Always love walking the docks at the South Seas Resort. Lots of great boats. This time we saw a 48 Sundancer, 420 Aft Cabin and a 390 Motoryacht. Then again, there were some other great boats there, a Fleming 55, a Hampton 680, several Sabres and a little ship known as the Nordhaven 55. I have to say the later is very impressive in person.

Our yacht club had 15 boats at South Seas this last week for their annual cruise down there. Looks as if you saw some of the boats. Really great place, not surprising you want to go back.......get in line:)

I did see quite a few boats from Sarasota at SSR. I think I remember yours as well, otherwise the name is familiar from something else.

Wish I would have known, I'm 30 mins from there...coulda got Ya some SR time

We didn't manage to get there this year, due to work, moving our office and heck what a job! Hopefully next year:)
