I have a 225 weekender and just had a new long block put in (had a damaged, cracked block from previous owner). My temp gauge used to run pretty consistently between 180-190 degrees at 3,000 RPM. Today while running, the temp climbed to 220+ after 30 minutes of running it. I shut the engine down. After it cooled down, I was able to limp back to the launch.

I've had it in once since the block was replaced and Searay replaced the thermastat? Other than that, they were not able to find anything else wrong.

Any ideas for me? Frustrated....
