Engine Serial Numbers

Hi Guys, Just got my new Amberjack 33 delivered to West Australia and I am having trouble finding the engine serial numbers, the black print with the details on the rocker covers have faded, any idea where I might find them,

Nice boat you have there!

If it came with the owner's briefcase full of manuals and such, you may find the original warranty cards for the engines which will have the information you desire.

I was told that the starters on my boat if original have the serial number on them. They have raised lettering. Have no idea if this is correct. Anyone know if this is correct?

Never looked for them but on auto engines the number is usually etched in one of the cyl, head pads at the front of the engine near the valve cover
