Mercruiser 4.3l alpha i mcm stern drive TKS
Hello everyone! I am new to this forum. I recently bought a new 2010 Sea Ray 185 Sport with the Mercruiser 4.3L 190 HP I/O engine. The owner's manual calls for engine and stern drive flushing after every outing. Can someone guide or point me to info to install a flushing device while making sure the procedure will not void the warranty. Any help or assistance will be appreciated!

This is the flush kit you want. Put your drive down(assuming you're on the trailer at home) attach this flush kit, turn on the water, start your engine and let flush for 10-15 minutes. Make sure you are seeing good water flow exiting from the top of your outdrive

I like this kit the best and is a Mercury/Quicksilver product. It doesn't allow the kit to be accidentally kicked off like other muffs with the arms on it.

Thanks for your instant response. I really appreciate the info in your post. Will this work for side pickup? I looked at the Muffs which clamp to the stern drive but wasn't sure how this will attach and flush the side pickup.

The pin goes through your pickup vanes at the lower end and hold it there.
Side pick up?
