1992 5.7 carb mercruiser. I was ready to go out last week fired up engine was letting it warm up and it died figured it just stalled started up again ran for another minute stalled again no backfire etc. after a couple of more field attempts would not start. Went down to days later with spark tester fired it up ran for two minutes at 2000 RPM’s stalled again continued after it wouldn’t start no spark on tester. Had extra coil that I know was good change that no change once it gets hot it won’t stay running going to go down tonight to check ignition sensor and or thunderbolt ignition on side of riser any suggestions as to how to troubleshoot without replacing a bunch of parts thank you
