Engine Alarm at startup is no longer working

The 3 second audible alarm normally heard at startup no longer sounds on the starboard engine but it still starts and runs properly. Does anyone have any ideas on how to troubleshoot and know what the risks are for operating the engine without the startup alarm? My main concern is that the alarm will not sound while underway if a severe problem occurs. Both 5.7L engines are fuel injected and all gauges are functional and currently indicating normal operational levels.

Also, does anyone know if there is a separate fuse or breaker for each engine alarm and where it might be located on a 98 290 DA ? The Port engine alarm still works fine.
