Check eng alarm sounding, psis, voltage, and temps are good as compared to port eng. I did add outdrive oil, but still have same warnings: check eng, alarm, and Bat tmp psi.

Thanks for any help

What you've written - and shown in the pics - is confusing. You won't get the "All OK" screen if the engine isn't running.

As far as why you're getting an alarm when it's running, check the vitals and cycle through the SC gauge to see why it's complaining.

But if you can be more specific (and reference which engine you are talking about in better detail), that might help. Otherwise, get a Merc tech to look at it and scan it.

Thanks,
I did scroll thru and compared to port eng, and everything was similar; oil press, temp, rpm etc., i did add out drive oil, which was low. If that bat/tmp/psi is supposed to flash alarms below when the motor is NOT running, duh on my part, my instinct is if its flashing, this would indicate an abnormality. I assumed it was associated with the starboard check engine alarm. Which, I cannot diagnose any further without downloading the codes?

If engines are running OK and Oil Pressure, Temperature, Coolant Levels are OK and Raw Water is flowing fine then it could be a sender unit that may need replacing. Look in your manual and it will give you a list of the areas that alarms will refer to (or at least mine does) and check each sender unit in turn to see which may be at fault.

Although mine is a diesel Yanmar we had the same thing a few weeks ago and the culprit was the water flow sender unit that was at fault despite a good flow of water coming out the back. Replaced the unit and all good now.

Compare all the vitals - step through every page on the SC gauge - between engines. Do this while the engines are running.
