Hi All, We have a 280 Sundancer and need to know how to empty our grey water tank. We live in Perth, Australia and bought our boat from Indianna USA and had it shipped over. Look forward to your replys and you all have a merry christmas

Welcome aboard!

The "black" (doubt that you have a gray) water tank is typically emptied with a dock side pump-out. There will be a deck plate marked "Waste". Do you know if it has a macerator? That can be used to discharge in waters where laws permit.

There are some boats with Macerators in Australia. Not sure about Perth but you are not allowed to do that in Victoria / NSW.

There should be plenty of pump out facilities around at local marinas.

Jim, I looked at a boat some years ago on Lake Monroe and it did have gray water holding as well as black. So this guy could very well have both tanks.

 On 280DA from Indiana? OK... Thanks

Laurel Lake south of us is a no discharge lake and all the boats must have grey water tanks. I know of several smaller Sea Ray's that where ordered from the factory with them. Sure would be a pain to have to collect all sink and shower water.

With any luck the OP was talking about black and not grey water.

The one I looked at in Indiana on Lake Monroe was a 350DA and it was a factory option.
